Brazil: Entry 3

Today, I have decided to go out to do some shopping. I want to buy some good quality charcoal pencils, and a sketch pad. I need a pad with good paper, though. My sketch pad only has regular paper. I prefer thicker paper. I have decided to start drawing and painting more. There is so much beauty to capture here in Brazil. Soon, I will be hitting the beach, and I want to paint a watercolor portrait of the waves. Wish me luck!

Whiskey Lullaby

The song, Whiskey Lullaby, is a super sad song! I get teary just listening to it. It's about a couple who were broken up, and they became so depressed they killed themselves by drinking. I hope that never happens to me! If you have heard this song, tell me what you think of it.

Brazil: Entry 2

I finally have internet! You may applaud. I am now in Campinas, SP. I was in Jaboticabal, SP, just yesterday. If anyone wants to track my progress, they may. I will do that myself. I want to blog much more these days.I have already spent fourteen days in Brazil! I love it here. What are you doing during this vacation?

Brazil: Entry 1

I haven't been blogging, but sadly it's not because I'm having lots of fun. I am having fun, but I'm not blogging because I haven't had internet for a couple days. But, besides that, everything is great! I've already visited a school here. It's very different from school back home. I'm still not homesick, though. I'm holding on. I hope to have a lot more fun while I'm here!

Brazil: Prolouge

I will now be writing about my trip to Brazil. I go every summer, to visit my relatives and enjoy the beach. I will be staying for almost two months, and hope to blog at least once a week. Stupid School Projects

I think some school projects are just plain cockeyed. Why is it that all kids seem to have a level of maturity that no teacher can ever reach in class? And I know no one in my class thinks the project we're doing is mature. Gosh!

ALPHA

I just finished a major ALPHA (school thing) project. It was about the 1920s. I'm so relieved. I've been working on the project for two months now. I'm glad I finished it. And the ALPHA fair was fun, too.

Eyes on Fire

I was just listening to "Eyes on Fire", and it totally reminded me of Jane from Twilight. She's so evil. I hated that Fanning played her in the movie!

Concrete Angel

I just listened to Concrete Angel. It makes me cry every time I see the video. It's so sad. I can't believe kids get so abused, but sometimes they do. It is so sad. I think Someday I'll do something to stop this. I hate to sound like spam mail, but if you are reading this you must donate at least one dollar to a child neglect/abuse center near you. NOW!

The Insomniac Experiment Conclusion 2

This morning I woke up with super-sensitive hearing and I was really irritable. I guess those are some of the side effects of my experiment.

Now it's (check's clock) almost 5:30PM. Now, I'm absolutely exhausted. And this is right after I took a long nap. Maybe there's more to this story than I thought. Either way, that was the worst nap in my entire life!
